We
offer live auctions, on line auctions, live/on line combo auctions, estate sales, real estate and benefit auctions.
With all of these auctions we provide a free consultation to decide which service or combination of services best fit your
needs. We will work with you to schedule the date of the event, catalog and photograph your items. We take care
of producing and submitting all advertising including flyers, ads in publications and web site advertising. We will
deliver flyers to several regular locations, and provide you with additional flyers to reach out to as many people as possible.
With any event we do, we will finalize everything with you and provide you with your settlement within 7 days of the
sale. . . .
The
following is an explanation of the differences in our services and how they are best used.
- Live
Auctions - We will set up and stage the items prior to the auction.
We provide all the tables and equipment needed for the auction and the food booth free of charge. We handle all necessary
details during the auction so you can relax. We also will help with clean up after the auction. Live Auctions work best for real estate, farm equipment, medium
to large estates or if you are downsizing for a move. These are usually a faster way to liquidate your
items.
- On Line Auctions - We usually bring your items to our facility, photograph and catalog the items and post them on the
internet for an on line auction. We can do an auction solely of your items, or combine your items with other consignors.
Usually these auctions are open for bidding between 7-14 days. On line auctions work best for sales of unique or valuable items that the local market may not support.
We can also do benefit auctions on-line. On line bidding provides a worldwide market to get better
exposure for your items.
- Live/On Line Combo Auctions - This service brings the best of both worlds of the live auctions and the on line auctions together.
We schedule a live/on line auction and post items on the internet for on line bidding. The items posted on
the internet will be bid on live by the buyers at the auction site as well as on line buyers. Live/online auctions work well for all our services offered.
Estate Sales
- We will come in with our staff up to four weeks prior to the sale date to sort,
set up and price all your items. The sale itself will normally last three days. If there is real estate to be sold along with
the estate, we will sell it at live auction. This can be done at a specific time during the estate sale,
or we can do it on a separate date. Estate sales work well for all sizes of estates if you are not on a short time schedule to
liquidate the items.
Real
Estate – We offer 3 ways to sell real estate at auction;
Absolute, Seller confirmation, Hybrid. Call or visit our website for full information. In most cases the seller does
not pay a commission to JCPB, the buyer pays a buyer’s premium to purchase real estate. Our broker is Caroline Nordyke
of Look East Realty. Real estate can be sold at a live or Live/on line combo auction, by itself or in conjunction
with estate sales.
Auto
Sales: We are a licensed used car
dealer with a lot that offers all types of autos, boats, motorcycles, RV’s, trucks, SUV's, trailers, ATV's, and
more. All auto consignments are welcome. We are members of the CIADA and NIADA.
Benefit
Auctions – Pat has a long history of taking part
in benefit auctions. We can help your organization find donations and other items to sell, set up the auction
items, and auction off the items. We can be involved as much as your organization wants us to be.
If desired, we can bring enough staff to clerk (record sales), take bids, collect moneys and keep track of sold items
(run the ‘pit’). If your organization only wants an auctioneer, we will usually provide one ring man as well. Regardless of our level of involvement, we will advertise
your benefit auction on our website, as well as at every live event we have. We can also post the benefit
auction on line for additional exposure on larger benefit events.
